Quando vi dico che Dublino è una città che offre tanto non mi riferisco esclusivamente alle opportunità lavorative ma anche alle occasioni di svago e di divertimento. Ed è per questo che sono lieto di raccontarvi che sono giorni di festa a Dublino…Giorni senza corsi Inglese Irlanda. Infatti dal 25 al 29 Gennaio si sta tenendo nelle zone del centro storico della città il più grande festival della musica Irlandese: il Temple Bar TradFest.

Appuntamento annuale quello del TradeFest a Dublino. Nel programma di quest’anno tantissimi eventi e soprattutto tantissimi concerti live. Le zone da tener d’occhio per ascoltare buona musica sono Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin City Hall e The Button Factory.  Sono stati allestiti, inoltre, due palchi all’aperto dove si esibiranno gruppi di danza irlandese e bande di cornamuse che allieteranno il pubblico con la tradizionale musica celtica. Da segnalare la presenza di alcuni degli artisti più noti d’Irlanda,tra cui Moya Brennan e Cormac De Barra, Frankie Gavin, Sean O Riada di Cor Cuil Aodha, Tommy Sands, Mick O ‘Brien. Noi ragazzi della Scuola lingua Inglese ci stiamo organizzando per comprare i tickets. Il Box Office per acquistare i biglietti è aperto dal Lunedì alla Domenica dalle 11am alle 6pm e si trova al Blooms Hotel in Angelsea Street in Temple Bar. Sembra proprio una di quelle occasioni da non perdere!Let’s go and Enjoy it!!!

As I always say Dublin is a city that offers several opportunities to have fun…It’s a lively city! It’s not just English classes Ireland. In these days it’s taking place the Dublin’s biggest and best festival of Irish Music and Culture: the Temple Bar TradFest. The 2012 festival include headline concerts in Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin City Hall and The Button Factory. Other highlights include over 200 free events, music trail, singers club, open sessions, two outdoor stages, the international Celtic Irish dance show, master classes and showcases, gigs for kids, children’s club, pipe bands, street performers, a rural Irish village in the city and much more. The Iconic surrounds of Christ Church cathedral will play host to Michael Mc Goldrick, Ralph Mc Tell and The Dubliners 50th anniversary concert. Dublin’s city hall will resound to the sounds of Irish Music all week with lunch time and evening intimate concerts with some of Irelands best known artists including Voices and Harps with Moya Brennan and Cormac De Barra, Frankie Gavin, Sean O Riada’s Cor Cúil Aodha, Tommy Sands, Mick O’ Brien, an evening of Irish Culture in Song and story with Noel O’ Grady and a very special gala benefit night for the Pecker Dunne. My classmates and me from English Language school are thinking of buying the tickets. Dont lose this occasion! Cheers

Hi there! I’ve been without writing on this amazing blog for more or less one month…such a long period! I’m alive…Lots of things happened on my holiday in Sicily. I met my family and friends who I didn’t see for more then 7 months, I ate my favorite mum’s dishes. Now I’m in Dublin again and of course I’m at English classes Dublin again. I’ve missed too much them. I’ve missed the teachers and the beautiful staff of that English Language School. My back in Dublin on 2012 means, of course going head to improving my English, but this time getting a job that match my university studies also. For that reason I’ve started to check the job advertisements of the most popular recruitment agencies as Monster, Adecco, McKinsey and Michael Page International. I have to say that, despite the hard crisis all around the world, there are still opportunities for foreign people here in Dublin. So, people, cross your fingers for me and happy 2012 to everybody!!!
