TWO WORDS WITH … CINDY!

With this post I’d like to find out more about the experience of other classmate that as me are attending classes in my school. So today I’d like to present you the experience of  Cindy!

Hi Cindy…Welcome to learnenglishireland.com! Well, … can you introduce yourself?

I’m Cindy and I come from Venezuela. I have been here since 4 months! (OMG TIME FLIES!) , I’m a Computer Scientist. In the future I would like  to have a coffee gallery! I love art! My passion is painting. .. so a place where people can enjoy some good desserts and coffee, while they can see good paintings!!

Why have you decided to come to Ireland?

Because I wanted to make a change in my life, and I realised that go abroad to learn a different language and meet different people, and be on my own, could have been the best choice for what I was looking for.

How have you chosen your English School?

ULearn was just a suggestion of one friend that was studying here before. I really didn’t make a research for schools, I just choose this because my friend!

What are the best suggestions that you could give to whom wants coming here?

Have a clear idea of what are the reasons that bring you here, and what are you expecting. If you come without be aware of this, without make something and insight you probably will find very hard to adapt. And BE PREPARED for the f@@@ weather! This mean you have to be strong in your spirit to endure the difficulties that bring live without sun!

What are you favorite places in Dublin?

Up to now for me are: Herbert Park and Phoenix park, Whelan’s pub and …my home!

What is your favorite Irish dish?

I have one … but I forgot the name! It is something with pork and a mix of boiled vegetables… good! but heavy!=(

Thank you very much Cindy!!! See you in Phoenix Park …(when the Summer decides to come)…otherwise  in Wehelan’s also if it is raining!

THE OLIMPIC WALL

Trampoline, Table Tennis, Weight-lifting, Archery … these are some of sport activities that we have learnt in School during last week lessons. The topic was focused on “Sport”.

An appropriate topic if we consider that in our neighborg island it is going on with  The Olympic Games London 2012. Here we are feeling so much that event because we are geographically so closer

I find a side of Icon Wall right for that topic. As I wrote in some post ago in Temple Bar (Price’s Lane) there is an art performance dedicated to the most important Republic of Ireland’s people and events. Among those there is a wall dedicated to the “Irish Sport Successes”

I wish to Ireland ( and obviously also to Italy) to win lots of medals in the way that on the Icon Wall will be hang more posters up.
